Park City’s Club Elevate sent two 16 and under teams, Silver and Black, to the AAU Seeding Tournament in West Haven, UT, on January 13 & 14 2012. In spite of little gym time leading up to the tournament, both teams did really well. Team SILVER won both pools and went on to compete in the Gold Bracket, but loss in their opening match.  Team BLACK won the first pool and had to play a tie breaking 3rd set in their second pool, which they lost, sending them to the Silver Bracket. Team BLACK went on to win the silver bracket.

The competition is much higher at the 16 and under level and it was very enjoyable to watch both teams hold their own and go away knowing they have to work harder with less gym time to beat the top seeded teams this year.

Great camaraderie was observed between the SILVER and BLACK teams; these girls really enjoy playing together and cheering one another on.
